CCCU Study on Adult Learners and Spiritual Formation

The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) released information this week on a study at the CCCU Center for Research on Adult Learning at Indiana Wesleyan University which includes survey data from three member institutions. The study looks at adult students and at several aspects of spiritual formation such as prayer and church attendance and the survey is given to students as they enter and exit from their programs. The findings indicate a connection between Christian college attendance and an increase in religious behavior, and that adult students are more likely to report they volunteer in church or community organizations.

For more information on this survey, the findings are reported at: http://www.cccu.org/news/
