Two more related great resources!

I realized after writing up the Wabash Center that, well, I couldn’t just leave it at that …because the Lilly Endowment has so generously funded a variety of initiatives that provide great resources for ideas and dialogue within Christian higher education.

The first to mention is the journal Teaching in Theology and Religion. It’s published three times a year and we receive it both as a print journal and on several of our electronic databases. I actually enjoy reading this one in print as there is a great section in the middle of the publication called “In the Classroom” and it relates terrific pedagogy ideas with the teaching of religious topics. Of course there are informative articles and book reviews as well.

The second resource is the website www.resourcingchristianity.org — the full title of the site is Resources for American Christianity and it includes information about grant funded projects through the Lilly Endowment, interviews, study guides …a wonderful site to browse around in. I think the site has particular strengths in religion and higher education, pastoral development and leadership, congregational care and spiritual formation.
